Courtney was one of the first black British jazz artists to gain mainstream success, especially after his debut album ‘Journey to the Urge Within‘, charted in 1986. He also founded the influential Jazz Warriors band in the 1980s.

Doug Aldrich is considered a legendary hard rock guitarist, known for his work with prominent bands like Whitesnake and Dio, and currently as a member of The Dead Daisies.

The current main vocalist for ‘The Dead Daisies’ is John Corabi, who rejoined the band in 2023. He previously held the position from 2015 to 2019.

Albert Lee is a legendary English guitarist celebrated for his exceptional fingerstyle technique. He worked with numerous iconic musicians: like Eric Clapton and Emmylou Harris, was a member of The Crickets post-Buddy Holly, and has a prolific solo career blending rock, country, and bluegrass. His virtuosity has earned him a Grammy Award and high praise from fellow musicians, who consider him a guitarist’s guitarist.

Early in his career Albert used Fender Telecaster extensively and was known as “Mr. Telecaster”. He started playing his Ernie Ball model guitar in the late 1980s after Music Man gave him a prototype.

Albert Lee is a multi-instrumentalist, though he is most famous for being an exceptionally skilled guitarist. He also plays the piano, an instrument he started on at a young age before switching to guitar and is known for his skill in both genres.

Eric Bell is a Northern Irish legendary rock/blues guitarist, best known as a founding member and the original guitarist of Thin Lizzy.

After his time in Thin Lizzy, he briefly fronted his own group before joining the Noel Redding Band in the mid-1970s

Eric Bell, the original guitarist for Thin Lizzy, played the iconic lead guitar on their hit version of “Whiskey in the Jar” creating the memorable intro and solo that helped make the song a massive success in the early 1970s.

Leland Sklar is a legendary American bassist and session musician. He rose to prominence as a member of James Taylor’s backing band.

Sklar has recorded and toured with artists including: James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, Phil Collins, Toto, The Doors and Lyle Lovett. As a group member, session player, or touring musician, Sklar has appeared on over 2,000 albums, and contributed to many motion picture and television show soundtracks.

Since 2018, he has been the bassist for ‘The Immediate Family’, a group reuniting lifelong friends and most of his former bandmates from The Section.

Reese Wynans, a legendary blues and rock keyboardist who joined Bonamassa’s band in 2015. He is known for his work with Stevie Ray Vaughan. In 2015, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Double Trouble.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd is widely considered one of the best blues guitarists, earning a reputation as a young prodigy who became a Grammy-nominated, award-winning artist known for his distinctive, powerful, and emotionally resonant playing style.

While his early work was often compared to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny quickly developed his own unique sound. His style is described as bold and ferocious, emphasising emotional depth and powerful delivery over pure technical speed. He has successfully blended traditional blues with rock, soul, and Americana, appealing to a broad audience. He has also collaborated with blues legends like B.B. King, Etta Baker, and Honeyboy Edwards.

Chris “Whipper” Layton the iconic drummer for Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, now is the drummer for the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, creating a direct link between the two blues-rock legends, with Shepherd citing Vaughan.

Layton’s rhythmic powerhouse style, known from SRV‘s legendary sound, now drives Shepherd’s band, forming a strong connection to Vaughan’s legacy in modern blues.



Tom Newman, singer and guitarist for the 1960s psychedelic rock band July, which released a single album in 1968. After the band broke up, Newman became a successful music producer, most notably for his work with Mike Oldfield on Tubular Bells.

I had an honour and a pleasure to work with Tom on two big music projects. First was ‘Tubular Bells’ in N. Ireland with some 800 kids in primary and secondary schools and colleges to bring two segregated communities together with music. Second was International Music Competition EGMA – to find a unique original song and artist.

Victor Wooten is a legendary bassist known for his innovative technique, achieved as a founding member of the band Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. He is a five-time Grammy winner and was named “Bassist of the Year” three times by Bass Player magazine. His reputation is built on a combination of his virtuosic playing style, including his up-thumb technique, and his extensive work as an educator and solo artist.

Victor rose to fame with the jazz fusion band Béla Fleck and the Flecktones in 1988, but he also performs as a solo artist and is a member of the trio SMV with Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Chick Corea and Bootsy Collins.
He is consistently ranked among the greatest bassists of all time. Wooten is famous for his innovative and technical playing style, which incorporates a unique “up-thumb” technique, funk-influenced grooves, and complex melodic phrasing.

Billy Sheehan is a legendary American bass player known for his highly innovative “lead bass” style, which features techniques like two-handed tapping, chording, and controlled feedback.

Billy is a member of the rock band Mr. Big and has also played with Talas, David Lee Roth, Steve Vai, and The Winery Dogs. His unique approach has earned him the “Best Rock Bass Player” title five times in Guitar Player magazine’s reader polls.

Eric Martin teamed up with Billy Sheehan, Pat Torpey, and Paul Gilbert In 1988 to form a supergroup Mr. Big.
Mr. Big most massive hit was the power ballad “To Be with You”, which reached number one in multiple countries in 1992. Other hits include: “Addicted to That Rush”,”Just Take My Heart”,”Green-Tinted Sixties Mind”,”Wild World” (a Cat Stevens cover),”Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy (The Electric Drill Song)”,”Shine”,”Take Cover”,”Alive and Kickin'” etc.

Paul Gilbert is a legendary American hard rock and heavy metal guitarist, best known as the co-founder of the band Mr. Big. His career is marked by his technical prowess, including blazing fast alternate picking and shredding techniques, which have earned him a reputation as one of the fastest guitarists in the world. Beyond Mr. Big, he has an extensive solo career, has released numerous solo albums.. Paul has won numerous awards, including Guitarist of the Year and Best Rock Album.


Will Wilde is a force to be reckoned with – A Phenomenal harmonica player with a voice to match. His well known dynamic stage presence and masterful technique, earned him international acclaim as one of the World’s Top harmonica players. Will shared the stage with the likes of Taj Mahal and performed at many Blues Festivals in Britain and Internationally.

Will Wilde’s intense harmonica style steals the spotlight from the traditional blues rock guitar, with a sound that owes as much to Gary Moore as it does to Sonny Boy Williamson. “I’m always looking to make new sounds with the harmonica, pushing its boundaries, trying to change people’s perception of it.” In fact Will has gone one step further and created his own signature “Wilde Tuned” harmonicas so he can play licks that weren’t possible before. “They enable me to hold my own with any blues rock guitarist”.

Curtis Stigers is a famous American jazz singer, songwriter, and saxophonist known for his crossover success in the early 1990s with hits like “I Wonder Why”. He achieved mainstream popularity through his debut album, which sold over 1.5 million copies, and by contributing to the best-selling The Bodyguard soundtrack with his cover of “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding”. Beyond his initial pop success, he has maintained a successful career as a critically acclaimed jazz artist, blending various genres like jazz, blues, and soul.

Ginger Baker was a legendary English drummer, co-founder of the supergroup Cream, and considered one of rock’s first superstar drummers. Known for his distinctive style that blended jazz, rock, and African rhythms, he pioneered the use of extended drum solos and two bass drums in rock music. His other notable work includes playing with Blind Faith, Graham Bond Organisation, and collaborations with artists like Fela Kuti.

Sophie Lloyd is a brilliant British guitarist and composer known for her electrifying solos, blending metal, rock, and melodic styles.

Sophie gained initial fame through her YouTube channel with covers and original songs before becoming an internationally recognised musician.

She has toured as the lead guitarist for Machine Gun Kelly and previously for Within Temptation.

Annabelle Boissonnet began her musical journey with the rock band Jagged Joy in her hometown of Marseille, France, before moving to London to collaborate with a wider range of musicians.

Jared James Nichols, American blues-rock guitarist known for his high-energy playing style and unique “pick-less” technique. He is widely praised by fellow musicians like Joe Bonamassa and Zakk Wylde as one of the best players of his generation.

Richie Kotzen is widely regarded as a guitar legend for his virtuoso, blues-influenced rock style, and a career that includes stints with bands like Poison and Mr. Big, as well as a prolific solo career and projects like The Winery Dogs and Smith/Kotzen. This year, Richie and John 5 are co-headlining a U.S. tour.

Ritchie is known for his expressive playing and unique techniques, such as playing without a pick, he has influenced many guitarists worldwide.

In 1999. Kotzen teamed up with Jazz Legends Stanley Clarke and Lenny White to form the fusion supergroup Vertu.

Mike Portnoy is a legendary drummer known for his technical skill and work with the progressive metal band Dream Theater, which he co-founded. He is also a member of other projects like Sons of Apollo and The Winery Dogs. He has won 32 awards from Modern Drummer magazine and was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame at age 37.

Legendary AC/DC performed two sold-out concerts at Wembley Stadium in London on July 3 and July 7, 2024, as part of their “PWR UP” European Tour. The shows were attended by an estimated 80,000 to 90,000 fans each night.
The band performed a 21 song setlist of hits spanning their 50-year career, including “Thunderstruck,” “Highway to Hell,” and “T.N.T.”.
The touring lineup featured core members Brian Johnson (vocals), Angus Young (lead guitar) and Stevie Young (rhythm guitar), along with touring musicians Chris Chaney (bass) and Matt Laug (drums).
* This was my third AC/DC concert. First was in Dublin “Black Ice” World Tour on June 28, 2009, second was ‘Rock or Bust’ World Tour in Wembley Arena July 4, 2015.
The total attendance for the AC/DC “PWR UP” tour has surpassed 4 million people across the initial 60 shows. Their single largest concert attendance was an estimated 1.6 million people at the “Monsters of Rock festival” in Moscow in 1991.
